Another couple in Bollywood has split. Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Khemu have called off their relationship, which blossomed on the sets of Dhoondte Reh Jaoge in which they starred opposite each other.

Two months ago, when their second film 99 was about to be released and their romance was at its peak, Mumbai Mirror had reported how Kunal had dashed off to Goa to be with Soha when he learnt that her former flame Siddharth (Rang De Basanti) was spending time with her.

The Soha-Kunal break-up happened a few days ago. A source said, “They parted in a very dignified manner. There is no animosity on either side. They are still friends.”

Far from confirming their split, Kunal Khemu flatly denied that he was ever romantically involved with Soha. But he admitted that they are not in touch like before. “That’s because we are not working on any film together,” he said.

An amused Soha said, “Since we actresses seem to have been created more to romance our co-stars and less to act in films, it is only natural and fitting that during Dhoondte Reh Jaoge and 99, Kunal and I were ‘paired up’ by the media, and now that we are no longer working together, we have ‘broken up’. For my future boyfriends, please refer to my list of anticipated releases.”

When asked if she and Kunal are still in touch, she chose not to reply.
