BACK WITH A BANG: Rambha in the film

One year ago, phone lines in the country got jammed with the buzz that Southern sensation Rambha had committed suicide. BT is happy to lay that rumour to rest. Not only was it a false alarm — Rambha was hospitalised after fasting for a religious occasion and fainting, but the oomphy actresss is making a rumba-licious comeback to Bollywood in the quirky cowboy film Quickgun Murugan that’s being co-produced by a major Hollywood studio!

Rambha, who acted opposite Salman Khan in Judwaa, with Anil Kapoor in
Gharwali Baharwali and Govinda in Beti No 1, is back with added cleavage. She plays a sultry seductress called Mango Dolly who is charmed by the vegetarian cowboy. Named after a particular flavour of an ice cream, Mango Dolly is a nightclub singer and the ultimate male fantasy. Volouptous, helpful, and good-natured, she longs for love more than anything else. Lip-smackin’ enough?
