Yuvraj Singh got worked up when he saw his ex, Kim Sharma, getting too comfortable with Abhishek Kapoor at a party

By Vickey Lalwani (MUMBAI MIRROR; December 24, 2009)

It’s never a good idea to be in the same room with an ex and a current partner. Kim Sharma found herself in this unenviable situation when her ex, Yuvraj Singh, made an appearance at  a party where she was getting rather cosy with her ‘good friend’ Abhishek Kapoor.

Sparks were bound to fly and this time, they threatened to scald poor Abhishek.

When the cricketer entered the party, he simply greeted Kim formally. But the Zen state didn’t last long as watching his ex with another man seems to have rekindled his possessive streak. He was annoyed and went up to Abhishek. A major argument ensued and Kim decided to leave the venue with Yuvraj.

Our source said, “Kim tried to salvage the situation. She asked both of them to calm down.” Things were normal for some time, but Kim and Yuvraj shocked everyone when they left the party together.

Kim and Abhishek refused to comment on the story.

Neeraj Pandey refuses to take credit for a small-budget film he wrote before directing the critically acclaimed, A Wednesday

By Kunal M Shah (MUMBAI MIRROR; November 18, 2009)

The Jimmy Shergill-Kim Sharma starrer Khaffa, which has been lying in the cans for over five years will tentatively release on November 27 with a new title, Marega Saala.

After his newfound success as a prominent director with A Wednesday, the film’s scriptwriter Neeraj Pandey refuses to be associated with it because the producers tampered with the original script. When the filmmakers added Neeraj’s name to the credits as the scriptwriter he firmly turned them down.

A source said, “Marega Saala was Neeraj’s first film and he was entirely involved in the direction process. The film was shot in Mumbai and Neeraj was always there as the creative director but he had major differences with the producers. He moved on after the success of A Wednesday.”

Devang Dholakia will now be credited as the director of the film. However, Devang denied any such altercation and said, “Neeraj is a friend and we have been associated for seven to eight years. He had written the story, screenplay and dialogue, for which he has been given credit. There is no issue between us.”

Neeraj Pandey

Neeraj though had a completely different story to tell. “God knows what changes the film has gone through in all these years. When I had written this film, it was called Fanaa. The makers changed it to Khaffa and now it is called something else. Now, I am not associated with the film at all as the producers and the director have made several changes. I moved on as I could not adjust. I don’t like to work where I have no creative control. I have not even seen the film,” said Neeraj.

The film’s lead actor Jimmy Shergill said, “I have no issues with anyone associated with the film. Neeraj had initially offered creative help but then he got involved in the making of A Wednesday. I have no clue what went wrong between them.”

Kim Sharma has called off her marriage to her Spanish boyfriend and is now dating director Abhishek Kapoor

Kim Sharm

Abhishek Kapoor

The latest couple in Bollywood is Rock On!! director Abhishek Kapoor and actress Kim Sharma. Kim, who has dumped all plans to marry her Spanish boyfriend, singer Carlos Marin, said, “I’m definitely not getting married in February 2010 (as reported earlier).”

In the last two weeks, Abhishek and Kim have been spotted painting the town red at several restaurants, coffee shops and nightclubs. They first met through a common friend and instantly clicked. Abhishek’s fling with Kamal Haasan’s daughter, Shruti Haasan is over. “He was close to Shruti till the last month but their relationship has fizzled out,” said a source.

“Now, Abhishek is totally smitten with Kim. And yes, Kim likes him a lot too. They are spending a lot of time together these days. Even when they aren’t together, they are either talking on the phone or texting each other,” added the source.

Both Abhishek and Kim have had their share of affairs. Kim had a torrid relationship with cricketer Yuvraj Singh for four years and after their break-up has seldom been single. Meanwhile, Abhishek has been linked with several actresses in the past.

Although Kim refused to comment on her current relationship, Abhishek said, “I know this is a cliché but Kim and I are just good friends.”

Kim Sharma to marry her Spanish lover, Carlos Marin in February next year

After kissing several frogs in the hope that they’d metamorphose into Prince Charming, Kim Sharma has finally got lucky. Buzz is that Kim is all set to tie the knot in February 2010. The saucy Mohabbatein actress, who was earlier involved with cricketer Yuvraj Singh, was heartbroken after the ugly break-up till she started dating Spanish singer, Carlos Marin.

Our source says, “Kim travels quite often and it was on one such getaway that she met Carlos. Carlos was sure of his feelings in no time and couldn’t wait to marry her.” A tad superstitious, Kim has been rather tight-lipped about the wedding preparations that are believed to be on in full swing.

Being pursued by the professional Spanish singer, who is a frontline vocalist and is part of the successful Spanish band, Il Divo, was enough to make Kim forget her broken heart. She didn’t shy away from a long term commitment when her Spaniard proposed marriage recently. Of late, Kim has been busy shopping, stacking up on designer labels and verbal invites have already been sent out to the couple’s closest friends. “All her friends living abroad have been informed well in advance so that they can make the necessary arrangements to be present for the wedding,” says the source.

The source adds, “Kim’s dividing her time between Mumbai and Madrid where her husband-to-be resides.” One decision that took all of Kim’s friends by surprise was her decision to permanently shift base to Spain. “Carlos has a promising career unlike Kim’s acting career, which has been declining steeply. It’s only practical that she moves to Spain post-marriage for good,” says the source.

Despite repeated attempts, Kim, who was busy trousseau shopping in Madrid, remained unavailable for comment.

Sure looks like Kim’s going to have her happy ending after all.
